My Journey
My experience as a teacher led me to this discovery: The process of circling
nouns and diagramming sentences was insufficient in developing the writing
skills of my children. I began a desperate search for answers. My desire was for
my children to come to value writing as a powerful means of expressing their
ideas, thoughts, feelings and experiences. I had no idea then, that someday I
would be challenged to share with others what has become my life's
