Materials Fee: $ 25 Class Fee: $100 Includes Non- refundable deposit: $50 Payment Plan available Curriculum: $ 40 Homework: Yes Hours/Week:  1-2 Max/Min Students: 10/5 Grades: 4 - 6   Exploring Writing: Grades 4 - 6     Rosie's writing classes are lively and interactive and provide the direction and inspiration critical for any student. The program focuses on two major themes: First; building the desire and confidence to write, and second; giving children the tools with which to accomplish the task. These classes provide a non-threatening environment that will stimulate and nurture creative expression. Through the use of lively, interactive games and activities students will explore the beauty and riches of the written word, reaching beyond the mechanics of writing, and delighting in the art of invention.  Class Time: 2 hours. This is a one-semester writing forum, meeting once per month on the 3rd Monday of each month for 4 months. See schedule for exact dates.   Biography:  Rosie is a homeschool mother of 3 and has been teaching for over 20 years.  She is a featured convention speaker, both in Florida and now in Texas and is also a representative for Total Language Plus, a literature-based language arts program. Rosie has been serving homeschoolers and private schools as an educational and curriculum consultant. Rosie has a  wealth of knowledge and experience especially in the area of writing and language arts and is the author and producer of the writing program, The Wonder of Words; a program that provides students with the opportunity to embark on a truly unique and enjoyable writing experience.
