Exploring
Art
This spring, “Exploring Art” will focus
on the Elements of Art: Shape, Line, Mass, Color, Texture, and
Value. Children will learn the importance of each of these
components and how they work together to create a beautiful
piece of art. We will be using different mediums to explore
these ideas, such as drawing, watercolor, collage, acrylic,
papermaking, and sculpting. These projects will enable your
children to “see” like an artist and develop their
creativity and imagination.
Class Time: 1 hour. This is a one semester class totaling 14
weeks.
Classes are offered for Grades 1-2 and 3-5.
