Art - Drawing
This class will focus on improving the student's drawing skills.
If they already have a basic knowledge or claim to not be able
to draw at all, this class will help students develop the skills
needed to create more realistic and creative drawings. We will
learn about things like drawing in perspective, using shading
and shadowing methods, different types of lines, drawing figures
and faces, and how to use the positive and negative space in an
image to be able to see like an artist. We will use several
different art mediums such as charcoal and pastels, as well as
pencil. My goal is to help each student have a better knowledge
of the art of drawing as well as feel more confident in their
drawing ability and have fun with it!

Art - Painting
In this class we will be using three different paint mediums,
watercolor, acrylic, and oil to learn about different styles of
painting and art movements and the famous artists that
correspond to them. The students will be taught the essentials
of each paint medium and create their own works of art inspired
by the artists we learn about. The students will also learn
about the elements of art and design which will give them an
understanding and hopefully, appreciation, of art!
