Exploring
Art Camp
with
Christine Palmer
Exploring Art - Paper Mache
Monday - Friday
In this class, kids will learn the art, and experience the fun, of paper mache. This project incorporates the many elements of art, including space, line, texture, form and value. Each student will design and create their own paper mache sea creature to take home at the end of the week. They will first sketch their design, build the inner structure of their creation, then paper mache and complete with painting and decorating.

Journey into fairy tales, myths, folktales and legends
with Kathleen Jones

Come explore the wonderful world of make-believe. This course will take an in-depth look at the beloved classics from around the world. Exploring these various genres, this class will include reading, analyzing texts, writing, readers' theater and arts & crafts. Books include "The Legend of King Arthur," popular
Greek mythology, American legends, fairy tales and more.
